This topic describes the login process for the External Pilot Records Database application for approved Pilot users. The initial logon process requires user registration and approval. If you have not yet registered as a new Pilot user, follow the first time registration procedures; see First-Time User Registration.
Notes |
The login process is managed through MyAccess. In order to log into the External Pilot Records Database application, you must have an active MyAccess account. If your Pilot Records Database (PRD) Airman Record (PAR) has been suppressed by court order, you will not be able to log into the PRD Airman Records portal to grant consent to Air Carriers to view your data. If Suppression is in effect, a message will displayed instructing you to perform a PRIA request to obtain your pilot record to submit to an Air Carrier. For improved security, the FAA has changed its user sign-in process to require multifactor authentication (MFA). As a result, all existing users of FAA applications will have to go through a first-time sign-in process to set up multifactor authentication within MyAccess, see Multifactor Authentication. |
