Air Carrier users and Proxy users who are also pilots can register for a Pilot role. This process is launched from the Select Access Criteria page in either the PRD External application (for those with an Authorized Consumer or Proxy Consumer role only) or the Air Carrier application.
ATP or Commercial Pilots who are eligible for hire and have a current medical certificate can register for PRD access. Holders of temporary Airman Certificates may need to enter the superseded Certificate Date of Issue in PRD or register after receiving their permanent Airman Certificate card in the mail from the Airman Registry. Remote Pilots can also register for PRD access but do not need a current medical certificate.
For ATP or Commercial Pilots an expired or denied medical certificate will prevent you from registering for PRD as would an incorrect airman certificate date of issue. To confirm the status of your medical certificate and/or the date of issue of your airman certificate call Airmen Certification toll free at 866-878-2498 or visit Airmen Inquiry at https://amsrvs.registry.faa.gov/airmeninquiry/.
